Spartanburg Plant 03

Waterjet weaving at industrial scale

Over two hundred high-velocity waterjet bays operating around the clock, producing uniform synthetic and blended technical textiles with zero shuttle abrasion.

Insertion Cycle

Pressurized waterjet delivery

High-pressure micro-nozzles carry the weft yarn across open sheds at eight hundred picks per minute. Liquid propulsion eliminates mechanical gripper friction, safeguarding delicate multi-filament yarns from micro-fraying.

Tension Stability

Electronic warp let-off

Synchronized servomotors monitor beam resistance millisecond by millisecond. Continuous electronic let-off maintains identical pick density from the first outer selvage to the core of every five-hundred-meter roll.
